Is it illegal to sell 3d models of a branded item?

I am a 3d modeller, I see online a lot of sites which are selling 3d models with brands on them, example: ferrari car, HP laptop, Sony Playstation. So I had a model of a construction crawler crane with a brand on it. Should I remove the brand before selling it? Thanks. by 3d modeller i mean 3d max modeller, a computer software. So it's not a physical item. I am using Autodesk 3d max software. Thanks guys for the answers really helped.

1. not sure modeler myself, what program you using?
2. Yes, remove the brand! If you don't have written permission from the company it's illegal to use their name/image.
3. Trying to sell any branded item can get you a Trademark lawsuit, physical or not. Legal sites that sell branded items pay a license fee to the brand owners.
