Is there a program out there that let's you animate 3d movies?

I had pivot for a while and I got bored of it so now im looking for 3d animater and I wanna know which is the best one out there. Thx in advanced... :D

1. Blender. http://www.blender.org It is an open source version of what was once in-house software for a now defunct Amsterdam animation studio. As such, while it will run on individual machines it was originally intended for networks.
