What would actually hapen if i don't use certified Video Card for 3D CAD?

e.g: instead of certifeid nVidia quadro fos 3D CAD software (like SolidWorks 2008), I use nVidia GeForce..... Really? How about rendering image and large assembly files, are they still work but slow or just stop responding.....

1. should still work w/ geforce. May be choppy, thats the worst that would happen
2. proably be sweet microsoft sucks who cares if they suport it or not
3. you can not see what 3D is make.......
