can you see 3D images on normal television?

i was wondering if you could go to a regular movie theatre an watch a 3D movie an all you have to do is just put the 3D glasses on or do you have to watch the movie on a 3D screen ?

1. not with the same glasses that are worn in the theater. different technology.
2. Its not the screen. There are like 3 images there and when you wear the glasses they all look like one image. The glasses trick the brain. I think they could do it with tv if you wore the glasses if they wanted to. It won't be to many years and they will have no screen. It will be lasers projecting in mid air. Then no need for the glasses. And they will have odors when watching different shows. I hope I am alive to see that happen. : ) But I bet it will happen.
