Superbowl 3d commercial hurt my eyes?

I got the 3d glasses from Kroger for free, and when I watched the Pixar commercial after the second quarter, I didn't see anything 3d and it hurt my eyes so bad that they turned red and bloodshot and my eyes started watering really bad. I have a GE 52" rear projection television. Any ideas? Does that mean when I get My Bloody Valentine on 3d on DVD it will hurt my eyes too? Did it hurt anyone else's eyes or is it just me? As far as my bloody valentine, I have surround sound in my living room so its not a big deal. I just dont think I'll be able to watch it in 3d

1. it sounds like it could be some other underlying problem. you should probably get checked out by an eye doctor. i know my wife had trouble seeing the 3d but it worked for me
2. Maybe your allergic to the dye and or ink they used on the paper for the glasses . Or maybe your allergic to the plastic And please if your going to watch My Bloody Valentine in 3D you need to see at the movies with the surround SOUND .............TV will NOT do it justice NO matter what size TV you have
