4D Ultrasound at 15 weeks?
I have a one year old son and 14 weeks pregnant with my second. Next week (15W1D) I'm going to get a 4D to get an early peek at the baby's gender. I'm not going to 100% rely on the results. But I wanted to know who has done it this early, and were the results accurate? I'm not looking for if I should do it or not. It's only 50$ and I'm doing it whether or not the gender can be accurate or not. I'm just curious to others experiences. = ) I'm just hoping for the THREE LIL LINES!!! Girl! Thanks!!! = ) Thanx for your answers = )

- I had the 4d ultrasound done only a few weeks ago (I'm 37 weeks) and they told us they don't recommend you get it done till after 18 weeks. But get it done anyway and see if you can see your three lines!!
- Your lucky! cause this is my second pregnant and I am 15 weeks too! I asked my midwife if I can have ultrasound they told me not til if I am 18 weeks! If you want go for it! congrats!!
- I heard from several people who have had early ultrasounds that they were able to find out the sex. GL
- They do recommend you wait until atleast 18 weeks so things are completely developed. Anything before that, especially as early as you are, can be very inconclusive. A 2d ultrasound and a 4D will be just as accurate that early. I found out the hard way that a clitoris can look just like a penis until later on. At 16 weeks I looked like I might have a boy. At 19 weeks there was no doubt it was a girl and she was absolutely beautiful. I would wait until you get further along so you will know for sure, especially if you're spending the money. I kind of felt like the first 4D was a waste. The one at 19 weeks was awesome!
