Question about 3D movies ?
If I were to get the DVD of a 3D moved and wear the glasses while watching it on my TV or computer, will it be 3D for me?

- if it says dvd-3d
- Yes, definitley. I even heard that 3D at home is going to be the next big thing. Its crazy how people expirience something like this and just want more lol. The company LG has a 3D plasma in the making! im not sure is if you need glasses with it. probably.
- you need the 3d machine and the dvd's gotta be for it. They have it out just type in 3d home video. but you only get old movies or wack stuff. Wait T-Rex might be released. And I think Planet Earth or some nature movie (that was in Imax 3d ) is released. Nothing great like Captain Eo or Jaws or Friday the 13th will work. Journey to the center.... is the latest and it's WACK IN 3D. 3d in general is kinda wack b/c before it use to be more interactive with the audience. Like there were holgrams above the audience now it's just watching the movie in 3d. I mean i culd see the horses above the crowd in Harry Potter 5 but that was it everything else was inside the "screenless" screen. If you've seen the Bloody Valentine 3d trailer with the fire comign out that was old school 3d which was RADDDD but that's not what was in the movie.
- The way it works is that rather than showing a regular image, it shows a picture that is a mix between a red and a blue image, each one being at a slightly different angle than the other. When you wear the glasses, the red lens filters one image, while the blue lens filters the other. The result is that you see the two differently angled images, which mirrors how your individual eyes would see something in real life.
