What would be two good children's raffle prizes valued around $100.00 each?
Our town is having a picnic this summer and I'm in charge of kids games as well as kids raffle. They want me to purchase two large kids prizes valued at about $100.00 each. Any ideas what would be good choices? I was thinking of maybe a camera and a stereo. I wasn't really given an age range that's whats making it sort of hard for me. I guess I'm looking for something that's unisex and good for most kids across the board. Not easy I know.

- depending on the age group, a bicycle might not be a bad idea.
- a gift card, an ipod shuffle, nintendo DS ($129.99), or bicycle.
- You don't mention the age range. Maybe a portable DVD player and a gift certificate to Blockbuster, a Nintendo DS or other handheld gaming system, a video camera, an MP3 player, a skateboard with helmet and pads, or a bike with the same. That's all that's coming to me right now. Good luck!
- A camera and a stereo are good ideas. I would also consider: * Nice bicycles (with helmets) * Gift card to the nearest toy store (Toys 'R' Us, maybe?) * Season passes to water/amusement parks (awesome if you have a water park nearby, since you plan to do this in summertime) You could also do gift cards for a sporting-goods store, the movie theater, et cetera. Gift cards are great for raffles because the person who wins is guaranteed to get something that he doesn't already have. And if you get gift cards, the kid who wins can enjoy with friends and family in most cases (if he, for example, wins a gift card to the movie theater or something like that).
- A gift card from Walmart or other dept. store
