Which is easier to learn: game level design or 3d animation and modeling?
i am currently looking for a career with video games but am not very fond of programming and cannot draw at all...what field in the video game industry would be best for me since i am great working with computers and design programs such as Home Designer, AutoCAD, and FPS Creator

- 3d
- me too am in the same exact position as u, i graduated computer science but i donot like programming that much but i can do it so i decided taking animation courses, last year i finished photoshop, freehand and quark this year am going with flash, maya, xsi softimage and 3dmax.... i'd say go with animation even if ur not a good drawer using these tools made it easy to create whatever u want on the computer using ur mind....
- if you are really good with FPS creator and stuff like that you might want to go for 3D animation and modeling... it's also more rewarding... though game level design i would say is easier
- Well, before picking a specific profession, you have to take a more general course like computer programming. You have to learn the more boring stuff first like encoding and then take a more specific course that fills your needs.
- If you ever come across any animator jobs listings I sure would like to see them. And, I don't mean an instructor's job at a for-profit school.
