How do i make spheres or cones in 3d cad programs...?

I was wondering how to create a sphere in a 3-d cad program. i.e how do i make a sphere in autodesk inventor 11?

1. Depends on the CAD program. Spheres are typically defined as a radius. Optional XYZ distortion will flatten it if necessary. A cone is a tapered cylinder. One end has a radius of zero. Combine with XYZ rotation to get it facing where you want. Finish of with XYZ translation to put it in the right place.
