How do the new kind of 3D glasses work?
When I went to a 3D movie about 5 years ago, I remember having those classic 3D glasses with one blue lens and one red lens. Today I went to see the movie 'Coraline' another 3D movie, but the glasses I recieved aren't like the old ones. The lenses on the new glasses seem to be completely clear. How do these new ones work?

- most of the technology doesnt lies in the glasses already. its in the screen.
- Polarized filters.
- The glasses are circularly polarized.
- i've not seen them, but they're probably polarized. take 'em outside and rotate them. if what you see through the lens gets brighter and darker, that's what they are. there has been a problem projecting, and reflecting, from the screen, polarized images. it appears that both problems have been solved.
- these glasses only work for the new in theatre 3d movies, they are not the same as the blue and red old skool 3D glasses. if you try to bring them home from the theatre and use them for other 3d stuff they will not work. i tried it with the online sobe 3d commerical from this past superbowl and it didnt work but my cheap paper blue and red ones did work
