- Drawing a 3D 90 degree elbow? I guess you have to be very familiarise with the AUTO CAD 1st before you can do that..Hv you searched the help file? If not u can consider reading up some books on AUTO CAD books as well which are available at http://sg.88db.com/sg/Services/Ad.page/Buy_Sell/?CatID=3040000
- draw the outside shape of one end. draw a vertical line off to one side where the center of the elbow would be. (not touching the first shape) use the revolve command (rev) and follow the instructions at the bottom or keep hitting f2 to see what it is asking for next. When it asks for angle: you can type 90. repeat the same for the inside shape Move it into place. copy it so you have a spare. Keep saving your work. Then use the SUBTRACT command Also I like to use the 3DRotate command with my ortho or tracking turned on. Spin your model 90 degrees or copy it and then spin one of them. Then go to paperspace and double click inside a viewport. Then you can play with the solprof command. Solprof is explained well in the f1 help window.
