How to build a 3D model of a water molecule?
I need to build a 3D model of a water molecule for school, and my teacher wants us to keep it simple, but he didn't give us any directions on how to build it! Thanks in advance. :)

- you could use styrofoam balls with sticks or pencils. its what i did in 7th grade
- One oxygen and two hydrogens single bonded with an angle of 104.45 degrees between them (on the oxygen)
- Get any chemistry model set that has the pieces of the elements, using in the organic section of the store. Hydrogen is usually a small white ball with one hole, with relation to it only having one bond. Oxygen is usually a bigger red ball with 2 open holes. The set also provides you with black sticks that cn fit in the holes, representing bonds. So use two sticks, plug both into Oxygen and then put one hydrogen on each stick, giving you H2O. Here is a picture of what it should look like: http://www.3dchem.com/imagesofmolecules/water.jpg Of course the scaling isn't that big in real life.
