3D - 2

What's the easiest way for me to create a quick 3D game prototype?

I would do all the 3D art but I'm zero in programming. I'm wondering if there is something like GameMaker for 3D environments - with draggable behaviours and the sorts. So I can make a quick sample of a 3D model running around in an environment and interacting with it, without calling a developer. Note: I use Cinema, MAX and Lightwave for the 3D modelling. I obviously need to import boned animations, textures, and possibly lighting.

  1. I have the perfect answer! I have been looking around for such a program as well, and haven't had any luck until recently. I stumbled across a program called "Platinum Arts Sandbox" and it's phenomenal. The developers of the engine wanted to make it simple enough for a kid to use, but powerful enough for a game developer to use and they have made just that. It's drag-and-drop and incredibly easy to create your own 3D environments. For more information, visit this page: http://www.squidoo.com/freegamecreationsoftware Best of luck!
