  1. They suggest going 7-8 month so your will turn out great. The pics you get should look exactly like the baby when he/she comes out. Enjoy it and they are not a waste of money at all in my opinion.
  2. its nice and everything... but its all worth it when you see your child for the 1st time is, delivery.
  3. I think mine was a 3d but it was so cool and it was only at 9 weeks. my baby looked like a shrimp. im getting another one in a week and I am so excited. I would probably pay extra to hvae it done but my doctors office does the regular ones for my insurance to pay and my copay and my 3d one is free with the regular one! with all of my other kids, the 3d one i could never get but its awesome. I didnt get a dvd but Im sure it will look so cool and you can see your babys facial features. awww I want one at 35 weeks.
  4. I had one at 30 weeks at the perinatologist's office. It was great, and I only had to pay a copay since I was measuring big- it was for medical purposes. The pictures we got were great though. When I went back at 34 weeks, his hands and arms were covering his face. I have read that the best time to get a 3d/4d ultrasound is around 28 weeks- ya know before the baby gets all crammed in there.
  5. When I spoke to the ultrasound place near me they recommended that we do it before 28 weeks, because as time goes on the baby gets big, and instead of getting a big visualization of the baby, youll get pictures of different limbs. My friend did not listen to their recommendation, and went at 36 weeks, and she got some BEAUIFUL, fantastic pictures! The pictures of his face were amazing, they showed so much detail. I think that youll get some great, memorable photos. Have fun!!
  6. I opted to not do the 4D (and mine would've been free.) I already knew the sex of my baby and I felt the only surprise really left is see what baby looks like and I wanted to wait until birth for that. :-) (Patience...) lol.. But, to each his own.. (I've heard they're of pretty good quality, though, but..) Good luck and congratulations, mom!
  7. I would like to know where I can get my 4d done...I keep getting junk mail about them but I dunno.... Lol, should I make my own yahoo question?....
  8. Mine turned out great but my baby was breech so her head wasn't decended into the birth canal yet. I think that's what really matters. I would not trade that DVD for anything it turned out great. She would yawn and we could see it and she had the equvilent of gas and smiled it was perfect.
  9. my sister in law had hers done around then and her pics are beautiful!!
