What can I use to make a 3D Animation Movie?

Hi, What software can be used to create 3D animation movies (similar to things like Toy Story, and Shrek, but not as advanced). Also, how long and how hard is it to create a 30 second clip? HINT: I'm a beginner. Thank You

1. Beginner software is stuff like blender, which is free. For stuff like toy story you'd need MAYA or 3dSMax, which cost about $5000 and $3000 respectively. To make a 30 second clip depends on the content, to get a decent looking animation youd need a HELL of a lot of practice, as it is a very hard industry. Bear in mind that professional teams are around 200 strong and takes a year to make an hour and a half of good footage. As a straight beginner with an animation that uses simple transforms and stuff, it could take a week or two of a few hours a night getting to know the software inbetween.
2. im sure you can make a 3D from 3Dmax.. or you can search from microsoft and mac their the biggest software provide..!

Dear, For that 3ds max is the best software in the industry.Its very vast , u need to expertise in particular fields in max.Like modeling is a part of max in which u create objects(model them).like wise in Animation u can animate your objects(putting motion).Then comes Character modeling and animation,mapping ,modifiers,lighting etc. In my whole career I have never seen a single person who is perfect ,Even I say that i have a good hold but not perfect.Its not as easy as u say What can I use to make a 3D Animation Movie?
