I 'd like to know about the 3D animation for making a movie do u know something about that?

Hi, I'm interesting in the program 3 D animation but I do not know anything about that. If you know it please tell me what is the name of the program 3D animation and how to find a tutor for practicing. I 've seen the 3D film like " The Final Fantasy ", bewerewolf ".... I 'd like to draw an image with that 3D technic. Please show me the way to enter this amazing world of creation and imagination. Thanks.

1. Well let me give you a brief run-down. I'll start my telling you, you don't really "draw" a 3D character. You model one like you would for a clay sculpture. There are a variable of techniques to model in 3D such as planar, edge or box modeling, etc. You will need to understand the use of depth in 3D space which is made up of the x-axis, y-axis, and z-axis. For instance in box modeling you would start with a 3D sphere or box and push and pull on the shape with your mouse, until it becomes a different shape, like a creature's head or something. It gets much much more complicated but that's it in a nutshell. There are quite a few softwares for modeling: 3D Studio Max, Maya, Lightwave, Mudbox, Z-brush...If your just beginning, I'd suggest you look into community classes on the subject and start with the software they use, then slowly move to something a little more complex. Or buy some beginners books for 3D Max or Maya, most of them will teach you how to start off small, like modeling an apple or a pillow. After that you'll have a better understanding of how it all works.

3. There are several softwares to make a 3D movie. Maya and 3D max are famous ones. First we have to Model our characters, objects etc. Then a Rigger creates skeleton for our characters to be ready for animation. Then animators move several handles made by riggers and animate objects and characters. The software is like a virtual film set. You can create lights, cameras. Look through cameras. Move, Pan and Zoom cameras. Finally characters are textured and skinned. It gives them final look and the movie is made.
