What is the best 3D animation program for a newbie to use?

I'm a 14 year old amateur film maker and after making my first movie, I plan to attempt to go and try animation and since 2D doesn't really work for me, I'd love to try CGI. What is the best program for me to use and learn from? I have tried Blender but it seems to hate my computer so I doubt I will be using it again.
