  1. Since it's an 'elective' procedure,it's not covered by insurance. It can run anywhere from a little over $100 to a bit more. I'd honestly save your money and wait to find out later.
  2. I live in Florida &it was $199. Make sure that you find one that will let you come back if your baby wasn't in the right position because it happens more often than you think. I had to do jumping jacks to wake my baby up &she still was so far down &facing the wrong way so I had to come back twice.
  3. The smallest package at the place near me is $150. I'd just wait until your formal scan between 16-20 weeks....
  4. You can find some as low as $100 bucks but if you go for the cheapest one you get what you pay for You know the regular U/S is done from 18-22 weeks but usually done at 20 weeks You are almost there I would wait for the regular one(which your insurance covers) to find out If baby is not in position and you can't find out that day then go ahead and do the 3D/4D
  5. I live in Florida and it cost me 89.00 at a radiology place. You do not need a 3D-4D ultrasound to find the sex. you just need a regular ultrasound. If your doctor wont do it, have him give you a script to get one.
  6. 3D-4D ultrasounds are very good BUT you can find out the sex with a normal scan too. My 3D-4D ultrasound didn't cost me a cent...but i'm in Australia. Plus at 14 weeks it's to early to tell the sex, most doctors will make you wait until 18 weeks at the earliest and some prefer it to be around the 20-21 week mark so there is no confusion. The longer you wait the better chance you have at finding out the sex.
