  1. No all you need is 3-d glasses they should have came with the movie
  2. yes you can watch a 3d movie on any tv as long as you have 3d glasses with the movie (example: lavagirl and sharkboy 3-D)
  3. I give you all the info I know about 3d for television. The 3d they do in theaters is polarized that uses the glasses that look like weak tinted sunglasses. The problem is television can't do polarized so for that they have to resort to the 3d that uses the red and blue glasses or lately I have seen some use of red and yellow. Now obviously these distort the color of the movie and for some the 3d is harder to see with colored 3d lenses. Because of that some movies have not come out in 3d on dvd becuase red and blue 3d is not as good as polarized. Since it uses color you don't need a convetor box, just a dvd player and the glasses that come with the dvd. 3d movies I have seen at wal-mart are: Polar Express, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Spy Kids 3d. If you really want to see a 3d movie and can't go to the theater then get one of these. They are planning to make 3d televisions that can do the tinted sunglasses with them but that is still a little ways in the future.
