Make an anaglyph from just one picture?

Can anybody reccomend a good freeware or shareware programme to convert a digital pic into a red/cyan anaglyph? I have only found programmes that require you to have two pics taken on a rig or stereo camera at the start. Thanks for taking the time to read my plea and I hope that you can help me Denis

1. That's because that's what an anaglyph is Denis. It's a stereo, or 3-D picture, taken with two cameras or lenses separated by the same distance as that between two eyes. When viewed through the appropriate viewer, the subject seems to stand out from the background. It can't be done from one image. Sorry.
