What is the best 3D modeling software for beginners?

I really want to use Milkshape3D, but I also want to know if there is any other 3D modeling software or game engine that is just as easy to learn as Milkshape. I heard that Blender was also better but required quite a bit of learning.

1. maya is the best, ive never heard of those. alot of games use maya, so its pretty good. to make a simple model like a castle or jeep, a bigginer can easily make it with a bit of time. also a program called 3dmax. its also good, but i personally like maya better.
