How to make 3d models?

Whats the best program and were do i get it i want to make 3d models (like ones in games)

5. The software that is used most commonly for high-end games and multimedia is 3d studio MAX and Maya
6. There's quit a few of them....There's DAZ Studio, 3DS MAX and Maya...They're all very expensive software to buy but they're by far the best!
