The doctors have decided to send my daughter for a 3D ultra sound?

Is there anything I should know in advance so I can advise her better, any advice from some one that has actually had one would be great. NOT trying to freak her out, just wanted to make sure that if there was something else to it, I would know in advance so I can reassure her, dang they barely had the ordinary scans when I had her and her brother, so a great deal of this is new to us both. They have asked her to go for this due to genetic testing.

1. just a better way to see the baby and what the baby will look like outside the womb
2. lucky her, there supposed to be amazingly clear
3. No advise needed. She lies there and they scan her belly like any other u/s. Don't freak her out by acting like it is a big deal. A lot of people have these done during the routine 20 anatomy scan, as long as the hospital is equipped with this equipment. I've had 3 so far and will have one every four weeks. It really provides a miraculous picture of the baby.
4. how amazinly awesome for her - what an experiance, take lots of tissue cuz the scan is just as good as really seeing baby for the first time
