I need a free (or inexpensive) CAD software to help create a comic book?
I need to be able to create characters and sets in a 3D environment that I can save and import into the framework of a comic and then be able to move and pose the images so they can portray the action in a scene.

- try qcad or another version of linux based cad. linux software is almost always free and generally has most if not all the features found in the major CAD programs
- Google has a free CAD program called SketchUp. It might work for your purpose. Check it out here: http://www.google.com/sketchup/product/
- To be honest, those kinds of comics have never been popular since the characters always end up looking like lifeless mannequins. I don't think it'll be worth your time.
- autocad is the best, and try here http://downallsoftware.com/ , you can get a real cheap one of the full version, easy and safe, enjoy
