When is the best time to get a 4D ultrasound?

When will the baby look like himself? I am 19.5 weeks and don't get another ultrasound till 32 weeks. DH and I would love to see the baby again before my next ultrasound but when will he look pretty accurate to how he will be after he is born? Thanks!

1. they say between 28 to 36 weeeks . I had one at 33 weeks and turned out really good . you can see facial features at this point .
2. i got mine done at 35 weeks
3. The 32 week ones look great, they are mainly fully developed and just gain weight after that. My son's at 32 weeks looked just like him when he was born, well 3 days after.....
4. im waiting till about mid august, im due early in oct.
5. well i had two 3D and 4D ultrasound. the 1st time i found out that i was havin a boy and the 2nd time i want to say 28 wks. they wil have grown and have more meat on there bones. i dont remember how long but if u wait to long the baby will to 2 big for an ultrasound so look in to that.
6. I had mine done at 25 weeks and it looked nothing like my son did when he was born lol, i would wait as long as you can like 30 weeks maybe the outcome may be better.
7. NEVER. The beams are not good for the baby and should only be done if your doctor is worried about a defect.
8. between 28-34 best time though is 30wks
