When is the best time to get the 3D/4D ultrasound done?

I am 16 weeks 3 days right now and was just wondering when I should make my appointment. I want to be able to see all the features but I hear after a certain point the baby gets too big and is hard to see?? So when should I make the appointment? And feel free to share your 3D pictures or belly pictures, Id love to see!! Thanks Yes Id love to see them!

2. Around 20 weeks I believe. If you get it done later in your pregnancy sometimes because the baby is so cramped you cannot get good shots of the face. I haven't gotten one done, but know girls who have and they are just awesome!
3. they say after 28 weeks, I had mine done at 21 weeks and was pleased with it, if you wanna see the pics let me know
4. The office I talked to said between 27 and 35 weeks is the best time because the baby isn't too crowded in there yet and you can see more features. Too early and it is too small to see fine details. Congratulations!
5. my ultrasound tec told me sometime after 24 weeks, as the baby will be a lot eaiser to see and still able to bounce around! I havent had a 3D scan yet but hope to get one soon, im curious what my little baby looks like!!

8. Hi, I had my 4d scan done at 29 weeks. It was amazing! They told me 28 or 29 weeks would be perfect because after that the baby does not have as much room to move, and before that it has not completely developed. I could see everything. Her little smile when we shouted her, her tiny hands covering her face, her huge feet curled round, her little frown as the midwife pushed on my belly to get her to move her arm! It was the most amazing thing ever and I cant wait to meet her now.
