Is it easier to tell the babys sex at 18 weeks on a 3d Ultrasound?
is it easier to tell the sex of my baby at 18 weeks on a 3D ultrasound than on a regular ultrasound (black and white) Ima have a gender determination 3D Ultrasound tomorrow..and ima be 17 weeks and 6 days... Almost 18.. Will they be able to tell the babys sex? they will chance it to a 2D if they can't see it in 3D right?

- I was told by the tech that it is actually easier to tell on the black and white and they are more accurate then the 3D. However to the untrained eye, the 3D is probably easier to see. They would probably be able to tell the sex at almost 18 weeks.. if your little one wants to show you.
- they will be able to tell the sex but they have to find it in regular 2d, too early to see sex through 3d view. I found out the sex of my daughter at my 18 week mark at a 3d place.. so yes they should be able to tell as long as baby is positioned good for it!
- black and white is way easier. because the color isnt messing up the views, and you can see the lines on a girl way better && The baby might not want to show you. alot of people dont find out the first time the sex is looked for
- I found out I was having a baby girl at 17 weeks & 2 days on a 3D very clear picture I went back around 25 weeks and it was even better image. So yes I think at 18 weeks they will be certain of the sex on a 3D. Good Luck
