when can i have my 3d or 4d ultra sound?

I've just had my 20 week scan but the photos were really bad cos he wouldn't stop moving or was in the wrong spot lol just wondering when i can hav a 3d or 4d ultra sound

2. You can have one whenever you want to, but I think the best time to have one is around 28 to 30 weeks. That way the baby is bigger and you can really see the facial features. After 30wks they start to run out of room in there and it may be harder to see them. I had mine at 28wks and it was amazing, he looks just like his mommy :) I would really recommend having one done (whenever you want) it's incredible!!! Congrats on you little one :)
3. you can get one done whenever but its best to wait until you're at least 28 weeks or so. the baby has enough fat on him/her that you can see their features and so forth. its worth the wait though :)
4. I just had one done. The ultrasound tech said for 4d ultrasounds it's best to do between 29 and 32 weeks. They see the most movement and detail. It's definately worth it!
5. For better viewing wait until you are between 26-32 weeks to do the 3d/4d ultrasound. Congrats and take care :-)

7. I am having the 3d/4d done for fun..I did it with my first child and got great images, and they really are accurate. My son is 2 1/2 now and still looks like the pictures. I know you didn't ask that but I thought you might like to know. Anyways, I am going to a private 3d/4d clinic and they have a special offer package where you get to come twice for a great deal. They scheduled me for the earliest best and the latest best that they could do it. My first appt will be when I'm about 27 weeks and my 2nd appt will be when I'm about 32 weeks. I was 30 weeks when I had my first one done with my son. The girl who set up my appt said that at 27 weeks the baby won't be as fat and fluffy as she would be at 32 weeks but you can still get great shots and see the features and all that fun stuff. Anyways hope this helped.
8. I had a couple of 4D shots at 18 weeks at the hospital which I was totally surprised about! but i'd maybe wait until 24 weeks at least for clear shots, the baby's had a growth spurt :-)
