3d ultra sound when can i take it?

iam 14-15 weeks preggo iam wondering how far long do i have to be do have it done

1. 16 weeks I believe.
2. They recommend 25-30 weeks at most places because the baby looks more like a "baby" then and you can get good pictures.
3. they recommend 15 weeks where i am from. i got one done at 15 weeks its pretty cool. they dont actually use the 3d to determine the sex though. i wish i would have just paid for the 2d at first to determine the sex and then went back when i was further along to do the 3d because the baby doesnt have really any facial features at 15weeks and they looks soo much better at around 28-32 weeks. but all in all it was a really neat experience. good luck and just search in your area for places that do it and call and ask them.
4. Avoid Ultrasound again and again it may be harmful to baby. However your immediate Doctor can let you know better.
5. i think the earliest is 16 weeks but trust me you dont want to do it that early. i first did mine at 26 weeks and my baby was still unclear to see and she kept putting her hands in front of her face so we couldnt get any pics. (she didnt have much fat tissue developed yet either so she kinda looked like a skeleton =/ ) we then went back at 31 weeks and we could see her clearly! looked like a lil baby =) she didnt have much room to move so we got some really good pics of her! and since it costs so much money you definitely want to wait till your little one looks like a baby and not an alien lol
