3d 4d ultra sound ??????

how many weeks do you have to or should be to get it done?

1. ultra sound is normally done thrice during the 9 months of pregnancy... once every trimester... this is to keep checking on the baby's growth... so can do each with 3 months gap...
2. i don't know where you live but im in australia and you get it at the 18-20week ultrasound. They do all the scanning to check out all the babies major organs then they turn it to 4d you can watch for a while and if they get a good angle they give you some pics.
3. My doctors office did a regular 2d scan at 20 weeks to see development and gender, then I wanted to do 4d they offer it at 28-32 weeks in my doctors office, of coarse I had to pay 200 bucks for it but it was worth it!
4. Most places where 3d/4d scans are performed like the expectant mother to be 20 - 26 weeks. Ask when making your appointment or check there website to double check. Good luck :)
5. If this is an ultrasound that you are choosing to have so that you can get a pic of your baby (the ones you pay to get the 3d photos ofthe baby) then i think about 20 to 26 weeks is best though i know they do then as early as about 15 or 16 weeks here and my friend had an amazing one done at 36 weeks just before her baby was born.
