Why 3d movies do not work on my pc with the 3d glasses that I took in a movie theater?

Any movie that I tried looks almost exactly the same as without the glasses even though the 3d movie that I watched in the movie theater worked with them.

1. you need the red and blue cardboard 3d glasses cuz the ones from the theater are meant for REAL D not 3d
2. Its because they weren't recorded with a proper 3d camera.
3. I think your 3d movies are not compatible with PC movie player. try to use other movie player like VLC, FLV, windows mediaplayer http://www.moviewatchingonline.info/
4. The movie theater uses polarization in their glasses to create the 3d effect, which must be transformed into the red/blue format to work on normal televisions as well as computer screens. Go to blockbuster, ask for a pair of their 3d glasses (trust me, they have some) and you should be fine. Oh, and take the glasses back to the theater, they're expensive...
