where can i buy 3D glasses and get 3D movies?

i want to get a 3D movie for my g/f and her son for us to watch, where do you get glasses and movies? i haven't looked much yet, i don't really want to buy the movies but i'm not sure if you can rent 3D movies at the stores. and then my last question would be, do 3D glasses that you buy work for all 3D movies?

1. ive researched this before cozz ik was wondering the same. what i found out was that the movies in cinema etc. done use the classic blue/red glasses, they use cyan/blue/grey or summin all combined so the picture looks clear but 3d,if that makes sense. i couldnt find anywhere that sells these type of 3d glasses but you get them free when you buy the actual 3d film. ive never rented a 3d film before so i cant really say if they do rent them or not, but the glasses that come with the dvd have cardboard arms, and unless kept really well, theyll break or go flimsy after a while. hope this helps
