What do you think of all the 3D movies coming out?

It's definitely a trend again, kind of like it used to be way back in the day! So what do people think of it? Cool, or is it like a hokey gimmick?

1. i dont really like 3d its ok
2. Not a huge fan. I watched that movie UP in 3D, although I didn't think the 3D added much to it. I think it is borderline gimmick in some cases (Up), and total gimmick in other cases (My Bloody Valentine 3D).
3. People are too lazy to draw cartoons anymore and that is sad.
4. my eyes hurt
5. It worked great in "Beowulf"...other than that, it's been pretty useless. Plus it's not a lot of fun if you already have prescription eyeglasses.
6. It's an expensive gimmick. Nice way to rake in more $$$ for pretty much the same experience as 2-D.
