What is the difference between a 3D ad 4D ultra sound?
They say that a 4D is the "moving version" of a 3D,...but the regular old ultrasound produces a moving picture on the screen as well. Do the 3D ultrasound pictures not move?? I'm confused.

- THE FOURTH DEMINTION DOES NOT EXIST!!!! LIES!!!!!!!!! hey "Infamous" if that were true then that would mean that a regular ultrasound would be 4D and its not... so yeah... nice try though...
- with 4D they say the movements you are seeing are happening at that exact moment since the forth dimension is time
- 3D images, sometimes with photo quality details. It is currently used in selected medical centers to help health care providers further evaluate images from advanced ultrasounds. Taking the technology one step further, 4D ultrasound produces a moving picture version of 3D ultrasound. Examples here: http://baby2see.com/medical/ultrasonography.html
- do you watch the tyra banks show? the other day they just did a show on pregnancy...and tyra had a couple of women on stages doing 3d or a 4d(can't remember which one is it) ultra sound..it basically show a more complex picture of the baby in the womb..you could actually see the nose, eye, etc. features of the baby clearly...i was amased by it..i also wanted to do one for myself..
- I had the 3D and 4D ultrasounds and I totally recommend them. It was like looking at a picture. The difference is that 3D is like looking at a picture and 4D is movement in real time.
