Can I watch My Bloody Valentine in 3D on a DLP Rear Projection TV? Someone said 3-D won't show up on these TVs?

Is it true that I won't be able to watch anything, including My Bloody Valentine on Blu-Ray, in 3D because this TV won't support it? http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-HL-R4266W-42-Inch-Widescreen-HDTV/dp/B0009EXVIA It's just a basic 6 year old DLP rear projection TV. Nothing too fancy.

1. if you put in a 3-d movie, it will show 3-d. Most of the times the movie industry removes the 3-d when they release it to DVD.
