How much internet usage does online games really consume?

Im talking about a 3D MMORPG smooth graphics game. We pay for 25gb of internet useage per month an have 1.2mb/second download speed. Im pretty sure a game cant take more then 1gb in online play, and my mum says it takes ALOT of internet an im only suppose to use the internet for browsing which sounds stupid. Why pay 25gb a month for just browsing!?

2. Depends what game it is and where the servers are based, sometimes it can take around 10-15GB of bandwidth and if you use youtube frequently that takes up LOADS of bandwidth.
3. Usuallly ...... the game site will list this information when you preview the game information. Every game will take up a different amount of space. This is anywhere from 10mb to 30+ mb.
4. I totally agree with you! One of the main reasons I have broadband is to play online games. I mean what is the point otherwise right? :)
