How do I check my OS in my computer?

Kay so I'm trying to download Maplestory from Maplestory.com, and I need to make sure that I have the right requirements. How do I make sure I have these things? (Minimum Requirement) | (Recommended Setting) OS: Windows 98ME/2K/XP | Windows 98ME/2K/XP CPU: P 3-1Ghz | P 4-1.8Ghz HDD: 1.5GB | 3GB VGA: 3D Acceleration card | 3D Acceleration card SOUND: N/A | 16bit Sound Card NETWORK: 56kbps Modem | 56kbps Modem I don't know how to check if I have those things.

1. open run and give the command dxdiag. it gives all ur required info.. but for the hdd open ur my computer and check for the free space.
2. When your computer is starting up, it should say what operating system it is Windows XP, Windows 2000 etc but if your computer was made in 2000 and newer, it WILL play it But i advise you not to play on a dial up connection since u will lagg ALOT have fun with maple, i quit like 3 years ago =)
