Just bought a remote switch for my slr camera. It has only 2 feet of cord length & a stereo 2.5 jack ......?

How can I add more length? (and I don't want to buy a cordless switch as they cost heaps

1. you can see if there are extension cables to fit the stereo jack.
2. You need an micro jack extension cable. Try maplins.
3. I believe the compatible cordless remotes from Hongkong would satisfy your budget. Try eBay.
4. No they don't cost heaps. Search on eBay for "wireless shutter" you'll find loads of cheap ones.
