Why i cant watch 3d movies (like shrek 3d) on my tv as i can do it on theaters?
i heard that in theaters there is a special device that alternate images.. is this true? can i get this device for my home??

- The 3d glasses dat you use at home probably suck... also the movie theater screen is like 300times bigger than your home tv...
- I'm a projectionist at a theater, no you cannot get this kind of technology in your home. The projectors themselves cost a million each. We put a Z screen over the lens that creates this 3D effect.
- You can watch the ones that have the red/blue tint. Not the ones with the new technology. It will require 3D TVs that come out next year.
- They are planning to release 3d televisions and the hardware to go with it next year. You will just have to wait a year or two before 3d comes out for television that looks like the 3d in movie theaters. It will use the shutter glasses that open and close very fast and therefore will need electricity to work. There is the nvidia gforce system for 3d pc games that has already been out for several months, below is a video link explaining the system and what you need for their 3d system.
