AVATAR movie: IMAX or 3D?

I am planning on watching AVATAR movie this week. Should I watch it on IMAX or 3D? I have watched several movies on IMAX before, but I have never watched a movie in 3D.

1. IMAX...it doesnt need 3d to be cool...itll actually be unecessary
2. i watched a half decent cam job i downloaded off the internet and still found it pretty amazing so i dont really think it would matter either way.

4. definately IMAX. they do have IMAX 3d though. you are going to love avatar. it literally changed my entire life!!!! the greatest movie ive ever seen!
