3D - 2

What is the BEST callibration for a LED-LCD TV? 40" 6000 Series?

The problem im getting is that i payed well over 2,000 for a new tv and im not 100% satisfied with the picture and would like someone to help me callibrate it(maby im doing something wrong). its a 3M:1 Contrast ratio so it should have outstanding picture quality. Which is all i look for. I am using a Blu-Ray player with a HDMI cable. Its a samsung 6000 series 40' TV. What "in details" is the problem. It seems to look alot better and more 3d in a way when i turn the judder to max but there are still some pixels in the sky area that seem to throw off the 100% satisfaction. If anyone knows just how to do this that has worked well for them please let me know:). Also gaming for my xbox360 calibrations if you know about them too. THANKS

  1. wow, you're getting into the "fine tuning" part of your new TV, and there are settings that are locked to the normal user - only accessable through the service port in the back. So a professional is the best way, you paid 2000 for a TV and why not pay a little more to have it done right - the work of the professional is probably guaranteed too. If you purchase a Porche are you going to change the oil yourself? probably not. treat your top of the line tv the same way.
  2. Check out www.tweaktv.com and see if your TV is listed there. If it is, that website will show you the settings for your tv to make it look good.
  3. Curved TV
