3D - 2

What type of glasses do I need to view 3D movies I downloaded?

I plan on watching the movies on my laptop screen, the movies I downloaded through torrent, now what type of 3D glasses do I need to buy from ebay? (I live in the UK btw), because I know there are various types of glasses, and various techniques which match the different colours of glasses, so which do you suggest?

  2. I'm sure it is the anaglyph 3d format that uses the red and blue glasses. It is easy to see if the video is in this format because the double images are red and blue. This format uses color to block and unblock images so that is why they use it for television. With other 3d formats you have to have a special tv or hook up your tv to special equipment so you can watch other 3d formats. Just having a regular monitor or tv can't do it. The consumer electronics show in Las Vegas in the United States this past week had all the major television companies showing 3d tv's they will be making available later this year. Blu-ray will be making the 3d dvd's that will be compatible with them. We will know more about all that is needed for all this 3d equipment as it comes out.

  4. plans were finalized for a standard for Blu-ray players to play 3D movies. This step forward means that 3D movies for the home will become a reality and it will be in 1080p for superior resolution. But one problem that hasn’t been dealt with is the need for 3D glasses. One will still need the glasses to view a 3D movie. What I am struggling with is that I personally don’t see a need for 3D. I watched 3D movies in my youth and personally didn’t care for the way the movies appeared. Though the glasses didn’t bother me, removing them meant the 3D effect was lost and the picture was not viewable. Current Blu-ray players aren’t able to handle the new 3D format, but some analysts expect that adapters could be made available for them.
