  1. No. The only TV out right now that is 3D ready is a $6300 Mitsubishi https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001IAAD3K?tag=marartpla-20&camp=213381&creative=390973&linkCode=as4&creativeASIN=B001IAAD3K&adid=0ABXAADVD0GXBXJKKFXX& Samsung, LG, Vizio and other manufacturers announce their 3d TV recently with some coming out as early as the summer of 2010. I suggest unless you are pretty well off financially wait. These TVs are probably going to start at least $4000. Early technology is always a risky thing to get because if you wait they'll work out the bugs and make it more efficient and cheaper. Also the TVs still require 3d glasses. Currently people are working on a technology so you can see 3d without the glasses. I would wait for that technology...can you image having to wear 3d glasses for EVERYTHING you want to watch in 3d? Not to mention you need a pair for everyone in the house that wants to watch it with you? Another reason to wait is only a limited amount of things will be displayed in 3d. Like the Mitsubishi 3dTV thats out now...what can you watch on it? Regular HD TV. There are a few channels that will display in 3d but that will be very limited, and so movie might come out in 3d but that'll be limited too to begin with. Think about how long it took for the majority of channels to switch from standard definition to HD, by the time that happened HDTV were cheaper and better. Long story short just wait it out.
