looking for a decent rendering program?

HI, i work in a sheet metal shop and i draw the shop drawings for commercial buildings all over wisconsin. I use CAD 2004, which blows but hey, i use what they give me. Anyways im looking for a decent rendering program so i can make the things we do look really sharp for a presentation or something. Not looking for top of the line program somethin simple. I downloaded the free trial for autocad 3d studio max and im totally confused on it and i dont think that program is for me. So if anyone has advice or a suggestion.... please let me know thanks
