3D - 2

Mommies who had the 4D ultrasound-How long was the session and how much did it cost for you?

I'm getting a 4D ultrasound in a week. I'm really exciited to be able to see my baby's face, but I'm curious how long they usually let you see the baby and so on. Any info would be great. Thanks

  1. I am pretty sure that every facility charges different amounts, but in Maine ours was about $200 for 30 minutes- we got the video and pictures. Congrats!!!
  2. Mine was 80$ for a 30 minute session. I have a DVD of the whole 30 minutes, and 18 still pictures printed, as well as all the pictures on a CD. I also got a gift bag with free samples inside, formula coupons, etc. It came with a memory card, with a poem inside and one of the pictures from my ultrasound. I loved it! My baby wasn't in a great position so I wish the pictures would have been better but it sort of showed me his stubborn personality! Good luck!
  3. I didn't have one with my daughter. I was afraid I would pay my money and she wouldn't would cooperate. (she "ran" every time we had an U/S...lol) My doctors office usually runs "specials" on the 4D, so it's usually $150.00. I'm not sure otherwise.
  4. Mine is $125 for 1 hour.
  5. I live in S.C. Mine was $175.00. I got a 30 minute Dvd and 36 pictures. I was only supposed to get 3 pictures but the technician got a little picture happy. :)
  6. My hospital only does 3D ultrasounds...I haven't gotten one but here is there price sheet they gave me. Basic Package $150 - 15 minutes scanning time, (4) 4x4 thermal images, 4 small color portraits, 50% off return visits Gold Package $ 175 - 20 minutes scanning time,(4) 4x4 thermal images, 2 colored 5x7 glossy photos of your choice, CD of session, 50% off return visits Platinum Package $200 - 25 minutes scanning time,(4) 4x4 thermal images, 4 colored 5x7 photos of your choice,CD of your session, 50% off return visits Platinum Plus Double Package $325 platinum package at 24-28 weeks, Platinum package at 30-32 weeks
  7. Mine was 75 for about 45 minutes. We got tons of pictures and a dvd of the entire thing. I actually did had it twice because I have an anterior placenta and the first time was really difficult to get good pictures, but they did second one free of charge to get a better view.
  8. I paid $195 for a 30-40 min session I got a dvd of the whole thing a disk with over 130 pics on it and I got 4 color and 4 black and white pics. It was a very neat experience I loved it I'm gonna take those pics to the hospital to see if he looks the same! We caught him doing some pretty neat things like we have a pic of him flashing a peace sign, him sucking on his toes, and him grinning it was too cute!
  9. I had one with my first and for 100 they gave me a half hour and put it on dvd and set it to music and everything. They tried to find out the sex but baby wouldn't help so they even let me come back in two weeks later and try for another 15 to find out it was a girl. An amazing experience, I went to on off of warm springs in Vegas and loved the place and the people. They even set up a link on their website so I could show family and friends. Most places offer different packages and options so shop around. Plus it doesn't hurt to ask for a deal. With the economy being what it is people in the field are slower then normal. With my third I called a local place in southern utah but the price was too high. My hubby was out of work and it was just too much. The place offered me half off any package if I handed out 6 business cards and refered my friends who were pregnant. If you go it make sure to eat something sweet before hand... usually gets baby moving. Plus some places even offer a promise on gender. If they can't tell you you don't have to pay or you can come back later. Good luck and congrats.
