What will happen if I didnt wear my 3D glasses?

If they are showing movies in 3D at movie theaters and if they give you 3D glasses to wear, do I have to wear them? What will happen if I just watch the movie regularly and dont wear 3D glasses? Will it make a difference and damage my eyesight? Also, what will happen if I stole the 3D glasses and didnt put them back in the recycling tray at the theater? Do people do that and will I get in trouble for that?

1. if my memory serves me rightly, the image looks blurry if you take the 3d glasses off during a 3d movie.

4. Your eyes will be fine. You are to wear them to bring the picture into focus. I'm sure there's no problem w/not turning he glasses in; I'm sure they expect some folks to do that.
5. Its just blurry and hard to enjoy the movie. I have taken the glasses before. Dont worry, you wont get in trouble :)
6. It won't damage your eyesight - it may make you sick to your stomach (nauseous) while watching because of the constantly varying overlap of the two images on the screen. The glasses are cheap and not much use elsewhere, recycling is just to keep them off the floor and out of the trash.
