3D - 2

Do I have to wear the 3D glasses in the movie theaters?

I have a lazy eye, which means I can't see 3D, no matter how much I really want to. I was wondering if I went to see Final Destination 3-D in theaters, if the picture would look weird. I really wanna see the movie, but it's in 3D so theres no use in me wearing the glasses if I cant see anything.

  1. Yeah, you do. You'll get a headache. I mean you can watch it, but it'll hurt your eyes.
  2. um no
  3. Most theatres are showing it in 2d version and 3d version. So just go see the 2d version. If you're going with friends who want to see the 3d version; then stay home or get one of them to go to the 2d version with you. Why pay money to NOT see the movie? Makes no sense. :)
  4. No you shouldn't have a problem. The way the 3D process works is that two, overlapping images are projected. The images go through a polarizer, which is kind of like a filter for light. Each lens in your glasses filters out a certain image so each eye sees a slightly different image than the other, creating the 3D effect. Since you will only see one image, it will look normal to you. Although I would try to find a 2D version because you would be spending extra money on an effect you can't see.
