What software do I use to create a software and 3D modeling?

I want to know what are the best software to use to make a software for beginner and 3D modeling besides CAD. Please answer. I am beginer. Thanks I'm not that bad at blender and 3D SMAX though And It's not a homework, just curiosity

1. The best 3D software would be 3DS Max, Maya and Blender. None are easy to use... but they are the BEST. If you find these too difficult, I find Google Sketchup fantastic for doing basic primitive shapes. As for making software, it depends on the language you want to make it in. It it is C, C++, C# or VB, I think MS Visual Studio is the most used. Other languages also have their "most used IDEs". Do your homework and make sure you learn the things you want before you find out you're wasting your time. These are all professional packages and most cost something. They also take years to master. If you're hoping to make games, you may want something more simpler than "the best".
