Are 3d televisions closer to the Nvidia 3d PC games or watching a 3d movie at the theatres?

The PC games are in full 3d while the movies at the theatres are more like different planes with different images that aren't exactly connected to each other.

1. The 3d television systems they are coming out with in a year or two will be field sequential just like nvidia. Using the shutter glasses.
